What do you want to protect?
? This includes safes, cabinets, vaults & vault doors, designed to withstand physical attacks in different strengths or Grades. Each Grade represents a particular “cash rating” which is the amount an insurer will cover. ? To survive a fire, documents require protection from temperatures higher than 177°C. Therefore, cabinets must be specifically designed, tested and then certified for this task. Without a credible certification, you cannot be sure that your documents are safe. ? Just like for documents, the same is valid for data media, except here the cabinet must offer much greater protection due to the sensitivity of the material. If the inside of the cabinet exceeds a mere 55°C, then the information on a CD, DVD or tape will be destroyed. ? Choose this criteria if you’re looking for a safe storage to securely store collectables like stamp albums, coins, watches, etc. that require a respective fire protection. ? This includes safes, cabinets, vaults & vault doors, designed to withstand physical attacks in different strengths or Grades. Each Grade represents a particular “valuables rating” which is the amount an insurer will cover. ? Which certification level or grade should your safe have?
? Choose this parameter if your safe needs to provide an elementary burglary protection. ? Level S1 and S2 are certifications for safes and cabinets for burglary protection according to EN 11450. Insurance amounts vary from country to country from 500 to 20,000 EUR for cash or valuables. In some countries an additional protection with an intruder alarm system is a prerequisite for obtaining a certain insurance value. ? Grade 0 to VI are certifications for safes, cabinets and vaults for burglary protection according to EN 1143-1 or EN 1143-2. Insurance amounts vary from country to country from 2,000 to around 1.2 million EUR for cash or valuables.
